About Moment of Thanks

Americans may be Democrats or Republicans. They may support or oppose the war in Iraq. In fact, they may - and do - differ across the broad political spectrum. But what all Americans share is the precious gift of freedom, and the understanding that hundreds of thousands of Americans are on guard at home and around the world every day, rain or shine, to preserve and protect that gift.

The Moment of Thanks (www.momentofthanks.com) is a national initiative that provides a platform to say thank you to the men and women of the armed forces. We encourage people throughout the country - and even around the world - to take the time to express their heartfelt wishes to the hard-working, patriotic, dedicated citizens who put their lives on the line for us.

Led by SheZoom, the Moment of Thanks is sponsored by Kodak Gallery developed in affiliation with Soldiers' Angels. Moment of Thanks invites people to create videos and images that convey messages and greetings to our troops. Whether you're from a multi-generational proud military family...someone who has been actively supporting troops through one of the many outstanding organizations with that mission...or just someone who enjoys the freedoms of America and wants to take a moment to share their appreciation, we ask you to be a part of the Moment of Thanks.
